Endurance Classes TBD
Getting Started
Because our focus is on quality of instruction, safety and effectiveness, entry into our Conditioning classes is tightly controlled. Clients with no previous CrossFit experience must progress through a series of either introductory "On-Ramp" classes or private “Foundations” sessions before being eligible for the first level of CrossFit classes. These initial training sessions will allow us to both familiarize you with the program as a whole as well as carefully teach you excellent technique for the program's foundational exercises. This will ensure that both you and your training partners are able to train to your fullest potential.
FTF Ramping up Program
The Ramping Up program is quickly becoming one of the most popular options for people to get started with FTF The results within the program have been tremendous both in performance results as well as body composition and health changes. The class consists of 3 weekly sessions for 2 weeks for a total of 6 sessions. The class curriculum is carefully designed and instructed to prepare new clients for the more demanding classes to come. These sessions consist of exercises instruction and practice, review, warm-up protocols, stretching protocols, and, of course, workouts! Instruction and workouts increase in complexity and intensity throughout the duration of the class, progressively improving your fitness and preparedness for the first level of training. You will learn, review and practice over 20 different skills and exercises throughout the course of the program, giving you an edge once you continue with the workout Classes.
Groups are limited in size to ensure all clients receive more than adequate personal attention. These classes are offered as needed per client. You can schedule this class with us once you sign up for our memberships.
Ramping up is intended for generally healthy individuals with no serious orthopedic problems; if you're unsure whether the class setting is appropriate for you, please contact us. Whether or not you're eligible for group training will be left to the judgment of the trainer.
Workout Classes
FTF training is offered in a small group format. We do our best to limit class size to 10-15 clients with 1-2 coaches. This group training format is ideal for pushing, motivating and encouraging our members and clients to get the best results they can out of themselves! The classes are structured around the workout given with a warm-up, a skill development portion, the workout and finally a cool-down and stretch period. Plan on the class being about an hour long.
*******If you plan on attending a class, make sure you are on time if not a few minutes early to start your warm-up. This ensures that the class is not disturbed with late arrivals. If you know you are not going to make it to class time, please plan on making a different class time.
