WOD #1 - For 5 minutes complete the following:
10 squat clean to overhead (95/55)
Your score will be the total number of squat cleans to overhead. (Example: if you finish 3 rounds your score will be 30. If you finish 3 rounds, 5 burpees and 4 squat clean to overhead, your score will be 34)
WOD #2 - 1 rep max overhead squat and max rep pull ups
OH Squat: You get 5 attempts with up to 3 minutes rest between attempts. You can warm up with the bar only. As soon as weight is on the bar your 5 attempts begin.
Rest at most 1 minute after your final attempt, then:
Pull ups: 1 attempt at max rep pull ups. The moment you drop off the bar your attempt is complete.
Your score will be the combination of your max OH squat weight achieved plus your max rep pull ups. (Example: you OH squat 225 and get 30 pull ups. Your score is 255)
***After the completion of the first two WOD's the top 12 men and top 9 women will move on to WOD #3 (which will be posted Saturday morning). Range of motion will be strictly enforced and each competitor will have a judge. Registration starts at 9am and the first heat will begin at 10:15am pst. All questions and overall scoring will be addressed prior to heat #1 at approximately 10:00am pst. Good luck, have fun, and bring your own jump rope if you have one.
